EVS’ unique loop recording technology ensures that no critical shot is ever missed. Our XT[2]+ series server can constantly ingest on six video inputs simultaneously; the recording can be from cameras, satellites, post production, VTR’s and storage and is highly reliable. There’s no need to re-load clips and instant playback is just a keystroke away.

The XT[2]+ production and playout server offers up to six channels capably of simultaneous recording and playback.  The recording process runs in continuous loop-mode; when the disks are full, the oldest frames are over-written. Remaining playback channels are used to search, cue and replay the best scenes, at any speed and without interrupting the recording process at any time. Playback can commence instantly, without the need for the operator to place any cue-markings. The operator uses "in" and "out" points only to mark and protect the scenes that are to be preserved.
