Multi Feed Ingest Multicam Acquisition

The XT[2] and XS production and playout servers act as true digital video recorders allowing up to six HD video channels and 48 audio tracks to simultaneously ingest feeds. - Cameras including SuperMotion cameras
- VTR recorders
- Satellite feeds
- Storage platform
- Post production stations
- Graphic stations
- EVS storage servers
Benefits - Loop recording mode
The XT[2] and XS servers work on a loop recording mode that never stops recording. This ensures that a vital shot is never missed and, because there's no need to re-load clips, instant playback is always just a keystroke away. The expertise gained from more than 12 years experience in the dynamic and fast-paced world of live sport broadcasting has enabled EVS to create robust and secure technology operable in the most demanding of environments. Hot swappable redundant power supplies guarantee live operational continuity while, with RAID 3 media protection, OB suppliers, broadcasters and producers can be confident their feeds won’t be disrupted. - Integration with third party technologies
EVS maintains an open architecture policy ensuring that its products seamlessly integrate with third party technologies from cameras to post production devices and automation systems, and are ideal for the migration to high definition. - Instant playback
Once recorded into the production server, media is instantly available for playback on air either as it is, for other production purposes or for transfer to post production, storage devices, etc. - Super fast shuttling with no picture break-up
EVS tapeless technology consigns the process of shuttling through tapes and re-recording footage to history. Rapidly scrub backwards and forwards between pictures and graphics at high resolution, speed up logging and begin to build stories, highlight sequences and analysis packages as soon as the image is recorded. - Schedule ingest
The ingest scheduler feature in IPDirector and AirBox allows for clips to be automatically made from any record channel under the control of the IPDirector or AirBox, either at a time scheduled in advance or entered manually by the user. This means multiple events over a period of time can be automatically stored as protected clips. A clip can be created on a channel with a name, level rating and metadata associated to it, and also be automatically placed into a bin in the Database Explorer. - Newsroom environment - Integrated production from ingest to playout
The CleanEdit Suite is at the heart of the news production process. This fully redundant and modular design features an editor that brings together speed and simplicity, with an intuitive timeline offering enhanced drag & drop and keyboard functions plus a comprehensive palette of transition effects. It also handles user rights to ensure that access to the different modules is given according to predefined rules.
