With EVS Xedio, not only can a host of live feeds be rapidly brought to air, but they can also be coupled with the most up-to-date clips from a large on-line or near-line archive. Rundown lists can be re-ordered continually as events unfold, bringing a more compelling, ever-changing sequence to viewers. Instead of requiring several operators to manipulate scores of tape cassettes, the technology is operated by a smaller and more efficient team. Each can locate, process and share content from a variety of sources – whether from press media agency satellite feeds, camera footage, ingested VTR tapes, archive resources or FTP downloads – and all with the minimum of technical support.
Consolidated around the new generation of EVS’ non-linear editor, CleanEdit, Xedio is offering a complete set of tools for modern news programs production. Xedio is optimized to offer speed and productivity improvements based on full virtual editing and media referring process.
