EVS Technology Deployed for New Reality Show Cracks
EVS announces that its Instant Tapeless Technology is currently being used for the new reality show Football Cracks. Spanish Version

Football Cracks, the new reality show that is broadcast on Cuatro, the private Spanish television channel, made its debut on Saturday, 24 April. The show gathers 17 football players between the age of 16 and 22. After six weeks of competing against each other under the spotlights of 5 Sony triax, 4 P2 HD and 6 Panasonic robotic cameras, a winner will be selected to take part in the 2010-2011 pre-season training of Club Atlético de Madrid. Football legends, Zinédine Zidane and Enzo Francescoli, are sponsoring the program. MonoFilms, the production company of this new reality show, has trusted Videoreport (Grupo Vértice 360°) for the technical facilities. The XT[2] production server from EVS is used to ingest video feeds from 4 different production sets: the pitch; the locker room; the class room; the testimonial room. IPDirector, EVS’ content management software, is used for recording and playout control, metadata and logging operations, as well as for transferring video files to EditShare™ storage for editing workgroups and 4 Avid Media Composers for post-production. Finally, an XStore[2] is employed for up to 320 hours of central storage in HD.
