XStore[2] is a dedicated media storage system for sharing and editing audio and video content in both HD and SD. It allows users to encode once and re-purpose many times to create a fully optimised file-based workflow. It also provides almost limitless additional storage to the EVS XT[2] servers.
Ideal working as either central near-line storage or online storage, it can also host both the EVS CleanEdit[Suite] and EVS Media[X]change software.
Media[X]change allows users to effortlessly bridge between the XT[2] Server and any third party NLE system, new camcorder acquisition formats (such as XDCam and P2), and new media delivery formats (ie. MPEG4 and Windows Media). XStore[2] also includes native support for ‘Super Slow-Motion’ footage.

Automatic backup of clips with the associated metadata, recall of clips to select content for a show and build highlights etc. Can also be used as multi-format edit and playback device.

Can be used as near-line storage to free up XT[2] servers or as on-line storage for CleanEdit[Suite] workstations. Export either via removable hard drives or Gigabit Ethernet.

Storage is scalable from hundreds of GB to tens of TB. Rack space starts with a compact 4RU enclosure and can be expanded as required.
- Sophisticated media management and editing functionality
XStore2 can host additional EVS applications - such as [CE]MediaManager, CleanEdit NLE and Media[X]change - to offer a complete production solution.
