HD

The EVS Live Slow Motion system revolutionized sports television more than a decade ago, since then the LSM has become the worldwide industry standard. EVS was the first to use first HD-LSM in 1992 at the Winter Olympics in Albertville and since then have continued to develop its HD offering.

EVS’ product offering extends far beyond sports production; we offer leading technologies for the production of non linear news editing, automated broadcast playout and local ad insertion – all in HD. In 2001 EVS launched its third generation slow motion servers, the LSM-XT.

Because there is no single worldwide technical standard all EVS HD products are switchable to SD, giving broadcasters greater flexibility. EVS down converters are built-in to conveniently produce SD monitoring signals with channel status information or to provide clean SD feeds directly out of an HDXT server. Operators can select 525i, 625i, 720p or 1080i, any of which are in 50 or 59.94 Hz from the control panel. HD -XT servers respond exactly like their SD counterparts.
