XF[2] removable storage is the perfect backup solution for EVS XT[2] servers. XF[2] allows HD and SD media, along with its associated metadata, to be preserved in an industry-standard MXF file format. With up to 1TB of media storage, configured as 2 x 500GB removable disk drives, it is the ideal solution for any live or studio production facility requiring removable media, archive, and/or backup.

Equipped with two IDE removable hard drives (500 GB each), working in single mode, dual disk mode or in mirrored mode providing maximum security against drive failures.

Insures gateway between EVS XT[2] server and NLE stations
Support media (camera ISOs, live feeds) streaming from XT[2] servers onto NLE and craft editors and import of the media from graphic or post production station onto the XT[2] servers for live production (bumpers, logos, screen animation, etc)

Removable disks for more mobility
Removable disks can be connected into portable XFile Adaptor (with USB connection) for direct import into any NLE’s and craft editors.
